Only assigned students of Berkshire Driving School LLC are allowed to attend classes and/or be in a driving car. Friends are never allowed to "sit in" or come in the back to watch. We respect our clients and their families right to this education along with their trust in our confidentaility when thier students are with us.

$565 Full Program

Full Course: includes:

30 classroom

12 Behind the Wheel and 6 hours Observation in the car

2 Hour Parent Class

The RMV accesses a $15 charge for the Driver Education Certificate for thier on line processing. When all requirements are completed we mail in all the paperwork to Boston for your student with this check.

RMV fee for a road test is $35; the 5 year license is $50. We do not pay RMV fees. This is done by the students, or parents.

Make all RMV checks out to MASS DOT/RMV

Program components may be taken seperatly and you will be charged only for the component you take which MUST be completed to recieve a Partial Completion Certificate. A student may take seperate components at different MA. driving schools. If this is the case for you contact us for help with your student and a full explanation of the RMV policies on this.

Classroom only: $215/free Parent Class

On Road hours only: $385 for 12 hours Behind the wheel and 6 hours Observation /Free Parent Class

Parent Class only: $25 fee for parent's whose student has attended another driving school.

Private Parent Class: $35

Private Student on road lessons are $45 hour East, South, West, North hamptons and Holyoke, Hatfield. Other outer towns are $55 hour. Discounts for multiple lessons.

Private tutoring indoor class is $25 an hour. Discount for extra hours as needed.

Missed Classes can be made up at the next available course offering.

Driving Appointments Policy.

If your school is cancelled for inclement weather driving is also cancelled

We do our very best to provide house, school or work pick up and drop off service. Please be sure to ask this question when registering.

Occasionally poor road conditions and/or the length of where a student lives might need to require a "meeting" place. This will be determined before registration.

We have a huge legal responsibility for the safety of those students under age 18 therefore:

Driving lessons for students are scheduled and confirmed with a parent only. Please read page named; "How to Schedule Driving and Observation Appointments".

If your student is ill please call office or cell right away so a car and teacher are not sent out for the pick up.

Sports events, practices etc. are NOT emergencies. If we have an appt we have a commitment. It may be wise to wait until after sports to start booking appts.

A missed appointment FEE IS BILLED AT $25 for 1 hour; $35 for 1 1/2 hours. $45 for two hours.

*****RMV regulation states: students are NOT allowed in the driving car without their permit on them; coming to a scheduled appointment without a permit is a missed appointment.

Our dress code dress with respect for the task you are undertaking. In the classroom, car, and on the road test. If you are uncertain as to what this means please send me an email and we can be detailed.

Genrally,our students understand this do not have an issue with this request.
